About

The Tyets, also known as Els Tiets, is a trap and reggaeton group. Originating from Mataró, Spain, their songs are primarily in Catalan. It has two members, Oriol Ramon and Xavier Coca. They have been credited with helping to create the genre of trapetón, a form of Latin trap, but with lyrics that do not reference "drugs and bitches". "Coti x Coti" was inspired by watching sardanes in Mataró and feeling that young people should be more involved in the tradition, incorporating the style of music into the song. Read more
