Jon Rahm Rodríguez is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on the LIV Golf League. He formerly played on the PGA Tour. Rahm first reached world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking in 2020 and held that position for over 50 weeks. He has won two major championships, the 2021 U.S. Open and 2023 Masters Tournament. Rahm was number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a then-record 60 weeks. He turned professional in 2016, and won titles on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour in 2017. In 2021, Rahm became the first Spanish golfer to win the U.S. Open. He won his second major championship at the 2023 Masters Tournament. Later that year, Rahm announced that he was joining LIV Golf.
